Steve Pignato is Standard Fluids’ Global Director of Engineered Fluids. His career path is an interesting one as he started at an entry level job and worked his way up to becoming a globally respected expert in engineered fluids. His years of experience include working as a chemical engineer with Hydrofluoroethers (HFEs) and Fluoroketones since their inception. He transitioned to sales in January of 1995 and has successfully applied his deep knowledge as a chemical engineer to educating and supporting his sales customers about the products that will best serve their needs.

On April 1, 2024, Steve made a pivotal career move by joining Standard Fluids, marking a positive step in his professional path. Since joining the team, he has applied his knowledge and expertise in engineered fluids to a diverse range of industries, including semiconductor, data centers, electronics, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, manufacturing, cleaning and solvents, and book preservation.

Steve began his career in 1990 as a janitor at 3M and transitioned to Tech Aide in the lab in 1991, Over the years, he earned a chemical engineering degree from the University of Minnesota in 1993 and an M.B.A. from Lehigh University 2003.
