Mark C. Smith – Key Account Manager and Sr. Account Executive for 3M Company promoting 3MTM Novec TM 1230 Fire Protection Fluid

Mark Smith has held various positions in the Fire Protection industry in the past 25 plus years. He has been a National Sales Manager for both Ansul Fire Protection (Tyco) and Badger Fire Protection (UTC) as well as a Regional Manager for Chemetron Fire Systems and Fenwal Fire Protection before joining the 3M Company nine years ago.

Mark has both trained and educated Fire Protection professionals throughout the US and Canada and has been involved with the NFPA, FSSA, and SFPE organizations nationally.

Mark is a Principal member of the NFPA 76 Committee (Telecommunications) and Chairman of the FSSA Membership Committee. Mark also serves as a Board member for the FSSA. He brings that experience and perspective to this session’s meeting discussing fire protection solutions in a highly regulated industry, for the protection of critical assets using clean extinguishing agents.
